Please pray for Karen Brunswick, who is the daughter of my dear friend Ellen. Karen has been diagnosed with ITP (Immune Thrombocytopenia), an autoimmune bleeding disorder characterized by low platelet count. It causes symptoms such as easy bruising and nosebleeds.

The doctors have been keeping an eye on her platelet count for about a year, and it has continued to creep lower. It has gotten low enough that they are considering a bone marrow biopsy, which is a scary, painful procedure.

Please pray for wisdom for Karen and her doctors, and for complete healing. Also, please pray for peace for Ellen because she is elderly, and Karen is her only living child, who is a great help and blessing to Ellen.
